Four-star receiver lists UK among favorites

Four-star Class of 2017 receiver Mike Harley listed Kentucky among his favorites on Wednesday evening.

Harley might not be coveted for his size. He's listed at 5-foot-10, 153 pounds on his Rivals.com player profile.

But his four-star ranking and offer list in spite of that limited frame is a testament to everything else that he does well on the field.

The Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas receiver, a rising senior, released a list of ten favorites on Twitter this week.

For weeks it hasn't been clear whether Kentucky would take another receiver in the 2017 class to complement commits like Javonte Richardson and Russ Yeast.

But with a few decommitments in more recent times, there may be more scholarships for the program to play with leading up to next February.

Harley is ranked the No. 34 receiver in the nation and the No. 224 player on the Rivals250.

When Cats Illustrated reached out to Harley following the release of his list he said Kentucky made the cut because of his "connection and relationship with the coaches."

Harley also told Cats Illustrated that he will "probably" visit Kentucky sometime in July.
