Four-star linebacker lists Kentucky among favorites

Four-star Missouri linebacker Ayodele Adeoye released his first list of favorites on Friday and, not surprisingly, Kentucky made the cut.

ADEOYE'S FAVORITES: Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Kentucky, LSU, Missouri, South Carolina, Illinois, Oklahoma.

While Kentucky has not been much of a player for Show Me State recruits historically, staff member Dillon Sanders has put in a lot of work evaluating, contacting and offering many of the state's top 2018 prospects.

The Class of 2018 in Missouri is one of the best in that state's history, and has college coaches from every major program in the country flocking to the state for the spring evaluation period.

Adeoye is a bit of a late bloomer, as his offers only started growing substantially in recent times, and Kentucky was one of the first schools to get involved.

Kentucky's early interest and offer convinced him to visit, and he told CatsIllustrated.com that his trip to Lexington earlier this year went very well. That probably had a lot to do with Adeoye including UK on that initial list of favorites.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound inside linebacker from St. Louis (Mo.) Ritenour is ranked the No. 8 player at his position, the No. 245 prospect on the Rivals250 and the No. 5 player in that stacked Missouri class.
