Four-star commits to Kentucky

Four-star center Luke Hiers ended the drama on Thursday with a commitment to Kentucky.
Ranked the No. 2 center in the nation by Rivals.com, Hiers is the fifth offensive lineman to commit to the Wildcats in the Class of 2015, joining Mason Wolfe, Logan Stenberg, Levon Livingston and Larry Wells.

He announced his choice via Twitter after informing the coaching staff.

The choice isn't a huge surprise.
Hiers has long maintained that Kentucky was his favorite. He has visited Kentucky twice in the past month, most recently for the Wildcats' spring game in Commonwealth Stadium.
The Lake Wales, Fla., prospect is the teammate of former UK commit Marcus Walker, who has since reopened his recruitment.
[rl]He is one of the highest-ranked offensive linemen to commit to the Wildcats in Mark Stoops' tenure and moves UK's class up to No. 26 according to the Rivals ranking formula.
Hiers is the second four-star in this class after Eli Brown, who committed last month.
