FINAL 10: Naz Reid to focus on these schools

Late on Monday night five-star center Naz Reid put his final list of 10 schools on his different social media accounts.

Kentucky made the list along with Louisville, Arizona, Kansas, LSU, Seton Hall, North Carolina, Rutgers, UConn and UCLA. The Cats haven't offered Reid but have visited him several times and watched him this summer.

The 6-foot-10, 230-pound center is ranked No. 14 in the Rivals150 but in a class with loaded bigs, he's the 10th rated forward/center.

The Asbury Park, N.J. native plays for Sports U in the Under Armour Association AAU circuit. He's averaging just under 16 points and 10 rebounds per game, and he's hitting 50 percent of his threes and averaging more then one make per game.

Reid plays high school basketball for Roselle Catholic, where Isaiah Briscoe played before enrolling at Kentucky. Reid has talked about his relationship with Briscoe in the past and said he had a better understanding about Kentucky because of Briscoe.

Reid played with Briscoe in 2015. That Roselle Catholic team went on to win the Tournament of Champions and Reid scored 12 points in the championship game as a freshman to help bring the title back to Roselle Catholic.

Kentucky hasn't offered Reid, but despite the Cats offering four other forwards UK hasn't offered a true center in the class of 2018. Many believe Kentucky is strongly considering Moses Brown or Naz Reid, unless John Calipari opts to have a smaller lineup that includes power forwards playing the five.

Reid is a versatile big that can stretch the floor but has a solid skill set despite his young age. He will need to get more consistent around the rim and although he has good size, he will need to get stronger at the college level.
