Elite Florida corner has Kentucky in top ten

With the Class of 2018 in the books, it's time to start shifting attention to the Wildcats' top targets from the next batch.

Prep powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is home to one of the top corners on the market and this week he announced Kentucky is one of the schools he's zeroing in on.

Jaden Davis visited Kentucky this summer with 2018 Wildcat early enrollee Stanley Garner and others. He turned in one of the top camp performances out of all the defensive backs who worked with Steven Clinkscale at that event he attended and was in Lexington for multiple days.

This week Davis announced on Twitter that he has narrowed his focus to Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Miami, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Syracuse, Texas and Wisconsin.

Late last year Davis told Cats Illustrated that he was hearing from UK offensive coordinator and South Florida recruiter Eddie Gran frequently.

Davis' Rivals.com profile lists 41 offers.

As far back as February of 2017, a full year ago, Davis had told Cats Illustrated that he was in contact with both Gran and Clinkscale.
