Dowell twins commit to Kentucky
Kentucky's recruiting class looks a lot better with a new pair of four-star commitments from
David Dowell and his twin brother
Andrew Dowell.
It's been expected, hinted at, rumored, speculated on and hoped for over the past couple of months. Now it's official. The Dowell twins are officially committed to Kentucky. At least verbally.
The twins, both four-star recruits from Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward, the same school Alex Stump attends, committed to Kentucky after having been committed to Northwestern and opening the process back up over the summer.
While not immediately available for comment sources have confirmed that the commitment took place. David has been recruited as a safety by the Wildcats while Andrew is thought of more as an athlete with the ability to play running back, linebacker or safety.
Proud to say that I, along with my twin brother are committed to the University of Kentucky

October 5, 2014Since decommitting from Northwestern the twins had seemed to narrow their focus to Kentucky and Vanderbilt. More recently it was thought of as a race between UK and Wisconsin.
Cats Illustrated will have much more for the Dowell twins as soon as they are available for extensive comment.
