Dinson commits to Kentucky

Three-star cornerback Jeremiah Dinson has committed to Kentucky, he announced on Twitter earlier today.
The Hialeah (Fla.) American defensive back told Cats Illustrated in a recent interview that he thought there was a good chance that he would commit to UK if he liked his visit, which is taking place this weekend. The official visit is obviously going well as Dinson decided to pop or the Cats before the game even started.

Dinson had previously listed a top three of Kentucky, Arkansas and Duke. The Razorbacks briefly held the lead in Dinson's recruitment because of his relationship with Randy Shannon, but more recently Kentucky had started to turn it up a notch and was recruiting him harder than any other school.
At 5-foot-11, Dinson is one of the more athletic defensive backs in the Sunshine State. The three-star prospect is the third defensive back commitment for Kentucky, after fellow Floridian Marcus Walker and Ohioan Kei Beckham.
Dinson's trip to Kentucky is an official visit. Talking to recruits for interviews is generally discouraged while they are on their official visits, so Cats Illustrated will have quotes from Dinson shortly after his visit.
Earlier, Dinson explained his interest in the Wildcats.
"I talked to coach (Derrick) Ansley the defensive backs coach and coach (Tommy) Mainord the wide receivers coach," he said. "They've told me great things about it. They sent me pictures of the facilities and I got a good feel for it."
