CoShik Williams, Josh Forrest will not play on Saturday

Senior running back CoShik Williams will not play on Saturday against Kent State, head coach Joker Phillips said today.
"He got torqued and has some muscle spasms," Phillips said.

Williams had 10 carries for 62 yards while starting against Louisville. He also had three catches for 21 yards and returned three kickoffs.
Williams, who practiced with the team but did not take contact this week, is the second UK running back ruled out for Saturday. Sophomore Josh Clemons, who missed much of camp and the season opener, continues to recover from a torn meniscus that ended his 2011 season. His status will be evaluated on a weekly basis going forward.
Junior tailback Raymond Sanders and true freshman Dyshawn Mobley will take Williams' place. Sanders will earn the start, Phillips said, but Mobley will also play.
Junior Jonathan George and true freshman Justin Taylor could also play.
"(CoShik) is a tough guy, no doubt about that," Phillips said. "The thing we have to have him for is the long haul. I'm not taking these guys for granted by any means, but we need CoShik full speed. He's not a real big guy and he needs to be full speed. He busts his butt on every play, whether it's practice or game. We just have to make sure we take care of him and get him to the field healthy."
Redshirt freshman linebacker Josh Forrest is also out for the weekend. He suffered a hip flexor in the loss to Louisville. He had one tackle in the game.
He was listed as the No. 2 SAM linebacker, playing behind sophomore Miles Simpson at the hybrid linebacker/safety position.
Simpson is also banged up, but is expected to start. Sophomore Kory Brown, a junior college transfer, will take a significant amount of snaps to spell Simpson, Phillips said.
