Kentucky finalized its recruitment of Oliver, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound receiver, in one fell swoop on Wednesday. He went public with his commitment when he signed his letter of intent and joined the Wildcats during college football's inaugural early signing period.

Oliver is not a new name on Kentucky's recruiting radar. Cats Illustrated has mentioned him as a possible target for almost a full year and Eddie Gran has stayed in regular contact with the three-star prospect throughout the recruiting process.

Oliver is coveted for his size, catch radius and the fact that Kentucky needs an influx of young outside receiver talent with several players set to leave the program in the near future.

He is currently Kentucky's third wide receiver commitment, joining fellow South Floridians Akeem Hayes and Marvin Alexander, following the decommitment of Meechi Harris and UK's decision to exit the race for Shocky Jacques-Louis.

While Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade Madonna has been Kentucky's primary South Florida pipeline, Dillard may give the school some competition for that title moving forward. It's also home to cornerback and early enrollee Stanley Garner as well as defensive lineman Jordan Wright from last year's class.

Oliver also plays basketball for Dillard.
