COMMITMENT: 2018 ATH picks Kentucky
Kentucky's Class of 2018 got bigger by one on Tuesday night.
Ashtan Pierre picked the Cats.
Pierre is a 6-foot-2, 193-pound athlete from Deerfield Beach, Fla., a school that sent a large busload of players to camp at Kentucky over the summer and one that is always home to a good amount of talent.
His commitment message was posted to Twitter:
"First I'd like to thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to play college football. Next I would like to thank my mom for being my rock, always having my back no matter what. Can't forget my #BeachBoy family. In these 4 years I've learned so much being a part of this program, not just about football, but about life. Lastly Coach Glenn, my father figure & mentor. There is no thank you big enough for what you have done for me so I will just say I LOVE YOU! With all that being said I have committed to being an early enrollee at the Univ of Kentucky! #BBN"
Miami, Ole Miss, Iowa, Iowa State and Pitt are some of the other schools that had offered.
