BREAKING: DeAndre Square commits to Kentucky

Kentucky added another huge piece to the puzzle early Friday evening when high three-star Michigan linebacker DeAndre Square added his name to the commitment list.

Square is one of the top-ranked players in the state of Michigan and he's another huge recruiting win for Steven Clinkscale, who has been red hot of late.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound 'backer from Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech, one of the Midwest's top talent factories, announced his decision via Twitter.

He was at Kentucky's first camp of the summer, which was held last Saturday afternoon and evening at Kroger Field.

CatsIllustrated.com listed Square as one of the top overall performers of the entire early summer camp season in Lexington. He has been, according to sources, one of Kentucky's top linebacker targets, along with the likes of Xavier Peters, Christopher Oats and Brian Asamoah.

Square's decision comes one day after JUCO defensive back Domonique Williams.

Stay tuned to CatsIllustrated.com for much more on Square's decision.
