Cats Illustrated rounds up the latest batch of bowl projections now that Kentucky has clinched a spot in the postseason at 6-5.

Jerry Palm of CBS Sports picks an Independence Bowl featuring Kentucky and Georgia Tech. That game is played in Shreveport on Dec. 26.

SB Nation now believes Kentucky will take on Houston in the Birmingham Bowl, set for Dec. 29. SEC Country agrees.

NBC Sports also believes Kentucky and Houston will square off in Birmingham.

If Texas finishes 5-7 there has been talk the Longhorns could decline a bowl game. But Campus Insiders has Texas taking on Kentucky in the Liberty Bowl on Dec. 30.
