Rewind: Goodwin was the first player from the Class of 2012 to commit to the Wildcats, and he didn't slow down after his decision. He led Sylvan High to its first state championship last year and finished the year as the No. 14 prospect overall.
Fast Forward: Goodwin is expected to be the starting shooting guard and also see spot minutes at point guard. He considers himself an "attack-first guard" who likes to drive into the lane.
John Calipari says: "Archie's a slasher/scorer who can play one and two both. He can play both positions, which is going to be vital, because when you're not playing 10 guys, when you're playing seven or eight, you need guys to play multiple positions."
