Four-star forward D.J. Jeffries of Olive Branch, Miss., the No. 37-ranked recruit on the Rivals150 for the Class of 2019, announced on Twitter that he had landed an offer from Kentucky.

Jeffries also has offers from Florida, Iowa State, Kansas, Maryland, Memphis, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, USC, Wake Forest and many others.

"It's a blessing and it's an honor to be noticed as one of the top players in the country," Jeffries told Cats Illustrated after Kentucky offered. "And Kentucky, I think highly of (them). Coach Cal does a great job at what he does and hopefully one day I'll be a part of it."

Jeffries said it was Calipari himself who extended the offer on Thursday.

"He said I'm a dog and I'm willing to fight for a spot in his system," Jeffries said.
