Kentucky gives Marrow raise, new title
Vince Marrow received a new job title, and a raise to go with it.
Marrow is now the recruiting coordinator and tight ends coach for Kentucky. A new contract finalized earlier this month gave him a raise to $275,000 per year, up from $175,000.
That makes him the fifth-highest paid coach on the staff, behind Mark Stoops, offensive coordinator Neal Brown, defensive coordinator DJ Eliot and special teams coordinator Bradley Dale Peveto.
Marrow has spearheaded Kentucky's historic recruiting success. The Cats pieced together the highest-ranked recruiting class in the Rivals history (which dates back to 2003) last season, checking in at No. 29, and figures to make another jump this season. A month away from National Signing Day, the Class of 2014 ranks No. 13 nationally.
Marrow's potential bonuses and incentives are all based on on-field results.
