Arkansas' Class of 2014 is full of talent.

The state of Arkansas has been producing solid collegiate football talent over the years, but the Class of 2014 may be one of the strongest yet.

Rivals.com announced the initial Top 250 for the class of 2014, and two Natural State prospects made the cut. Springdale Har-Ber defensive tackle Josh Frazier landed at number 90 on the initial list, while El Dorado defensive tackle Bijhon Jackson landed at number 139.

Jackson is committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks while Frazier is entertaining offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Arkansas State, UCLA, and USC.

While Frazier and Jackson have certainly earned the accolades given to them, there are some other quality athletes in Arkansas to keep your eyes on over the next year as well.

There are some young men who have stood out not only on the camp and combine circuit, but in games, the classroom, and their communities.

North Little Rock hosts some good talent in running back and Arkansas Razorback commit Juan Day, in addition to defensive back Kavin Alexander. Both athletes are solid, and both are kin to former Razorback standout players.

Day is the cousin of former Arkansas great Cedric Cobbs, while Alexander is the cousin of former Arkansas great and current NFL running back Darren McFadden.

Bentonville tight end Jack Kraus has the size and the ability to get the job done, and the Arkansas Razorbacks have already extended an offer along with Illinois. Alabama, Arkansas State, Oregon, and others are showing interest as well.

Fayetteville's Jordan Dennis is also one to watch. He has the potential to earn some big time offers with solid showings in the camp and combine season this year.

Greenwood quarterback Jabe Burgess already has a lot of buzz surrounding him also. There are some in Greenwood who will tell you that he is the best quarterback they have seen since Tyler Wilson. Those are awful big shoes to fill, but if he can even get close, he will see the offers coming his way soon.

Rogers-Heritage quarterback Josh Qualls is already seeing his name mentioned by multiple recruiting writers due to being a very accurate pro-style passer. If he was a few inches taller, some of the bigger schools may have already pulled the trigger on him.

Pottsville athlete Michael Perry is a very impressive player who is already hosting interest as well. He is Mr. Do All for the Apaches and makes plays all over the field. Keep an eye on him over the next year, his celling is very high.

Springdale Har-Ber linebacker Brock Dassero is another solid athlete from the NWA area. He has impressed collegiate coaches at multiple camps over the past two years, and he is sure to receive some nice offers in the coming months.

One of the top players to keep your eyes on from the lowest classification in the state is Carlisle running back Bo Weddle. Weddle is a machine, and despite suffering a season ending injury early in the 2013 season, he still has major division one schools showing legitimate interest in him.

Others to keep your eyes on this year include:

  • Zane Bush, DT, Rogers
  • Chuks Ota, DT, Jonesboro
  • Jake Hall, DE, Springdale Har-Ber
  • Zach Rasmussen, DE, Heber Springs
  • Jalen Curtis, WR, Russellville
  • Drake Jones, QB, Warren
  • Deandre Murray, WR, Springdale
  • Will Jones, OL, Parkers Chapel
  • Jarvis Cooper, LB, West Memphis
  • Jordan White, DB, Bentonville
  • Hayden Mills, DB, Little Rock Central
  • Jokenzie Broughton, ATH, Rison
