Thursday's top performers at Best of Summer

MORE: Profiling the Best of Summer

ANAHEIM, Calif. - During the first part of Thursday's coverage from the Best of Summer, we profiled a few standouts. During part two, we take a quick look through at some of the day's other top performers.

It certainly looks like Demarquise Johnson is going to be due for a bump up in the 2012 Rivals150. The athletic 6-foot-5 native of Pontiac (MIch.) who is going to school in Phoenix is a legit high major talent. "Que" explosive with range and listed Washington, Washington State, UNLV, Oregon State, Misssouri, Gonzaga and Colorado as having offered.

Those who follow recruiting and watch players tend to discuss Isaac Hamilton as a scorer. And the 2013 wing can certainly put the ball in the hole. But, he's able to do so because of his high skill level. Hamilton is also a clever passer.

Cullen Neal is a class of 2013 combo guard. The New Mexico product showed a great feel for the game. He used the jump stop over and over in transition, dished the rock and did some scoring as well. He has offers from Fresno State, Oregon State, Tulane, San Fransico and Portland. He'll visit Stanford in August.

Athletic big man Demetris Morant might have produced more in two games with Team Jennings Black on Thursday than he did during the entire spring and summer with Dream Vision. He made the most of his playing time and was active around the rim.

Class of 2013 power forward Marcus Lee was a nice find on the Bay Area Hoosiers. The 6-foot-7 forward blocked a lot of shots, showed skill on offense and has good length.

The New England Playaz were down big in a pool play game and needed some buckets. Then 6-foot-3 wing John Papale came up huge. He poured in deep jumper after deep jumper and scored all 19 of his points in the second half of a big comeback win over Iowa Pump 'N Run.

Cedric Blossom of Crusader Nation is a good looking mid major type prospect. The 6-foot-5 wing is strong, attacks the rim and has a motor that runs at a high level.

High majors should be taking a look at the Colorado Hawks Marcus Holt. The thin 6-foot-9 big man is a top shelf athlete with some length and skill.

For the second event in a row, 6-foot-9 forward Zach Auguste is passing the game test to go along with the look test. It will be difficult to keep him out of the 2012 Rivals150.

Kids are dragging at this point in July and it's especially true for big guys. Even so, Kaleb Tarczewski was working hard on both ends of the floor. The guy knows what he is on the floor and works hard in the post.
