GASO: 2 minutes with Cameron Ridley
PEARLAND, Texas - The sophomore campaign of Fort Bend Bush's Cameron Ridley has become a nice resume. He's won a UIL state championship, played in big-name summer camps -- such as the Nike Hoop Jamboree in St. Louis -- and won AAU tournaments with the Houston Hoopstars.
Ridley, a shade under 6-foot-10 and now a slim-and-trim 240 pounds (he's lost roughly 40 pounds since the end of his freshman year), has come a long way from the tall, inexperienced kid he once as. The 2012 big man now is among the top prospects of his class nationally.
TexasHoops.com Senior Writer Damon Sayles had a chance to sit down with Ridley, who has helped the Hoopstars shine during the Great American Shoot-Out in Pearland.
