Williams make a very big call

East Cleveland (Ohio) Shaw wide receiver Tyrone Williams has said that Ohio State was his heavy favorite for some time, but on Saturday morning he decided to act on that feeling.

Williams called Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel this morning and committed to the Buckeyes, according to Williams' mother.

With the decision, Williams -- listed at 6-foot-5 but is rumored to be as much as two inches taller -- became Ohio State's 12th committment on Saturday.

Williams has shown his ability to make plays and that was evident in his injury-plagued junior season. Despite playing in a limited capacity that season, Williams only caught 11 passes, but took eight of them all the way for a touchdown en route to compiling nearly 400 yards recieiving.
