SU closing in on commitment?

Syracuse will close out spring football this Saturday with their annual spring game. The spring game over the past few years has brought a few commitments from high school prospects. This year the trend could continue.

Myles Davis, 6-foot-2, 225 pounds has held a Syracuse offer since the Orange junior day and he will be making his return to Syracuse this weekend.

"I am definitely going up to Syracuse for the spring football game Saturday."

In March the Keystone State product had a great trip to the Syracuse campus, but on his second visit he will be looking for some things he was unable to see the first time.

"I am really looking to see how my recruiting coach Dan Conley coaches the linebackers because that is the position I will be playing."

On this trip the Orange could receive some good news from the linebacker in the form of a commitment.

"There is definitely a very high chance [of a commitment to the Orange]," Davis said. "The trigger might be pulled this weekend."

What are the actual chance that Davis does indeed pick Syracuse?

"It is more like a 75 percent chance. What I am looking for is is how the fans are going to react because there are supposed to be a lot there. Most of all though I will want to see how the linebackers are playing."
