Ohio State has offered another one of the nation's top prospects, the latest to receive a verbal tender from the Buckeyes is Naples (Fla.) Barron Collier tight end Mike Heuerman. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound prospect is the younger brother of current Ohio State tight end Jeff Heuerman. The younger Heuerman is in Columbus over the weekend on a four-day unofficial visit and sent a text to BuckeyeGrove.com that Ohio State had come through.

"Ohio State offered me," Heuerman said via text.

Heuerman is rated a four-star prospect by Rivals.com and is one of the top tight end prospects in the nation. His offer list includes schools such as Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Miami (FL), Notre Dame, Purdue, South Carolina, South Florida, and Vanderbilt.

BuckeyeGrove.com will have more from Heuerman later today.
