Big recruiting weekend getting bigger
Michigan State's Jan. 15 recruiting weekend just got a lot bigger, that's because one of the Midwest's top uncommitted prospects has added his name to the visitor list.
On Tuesday night, Chicago (Ill.) St. Rita three-star defensive tackle Bruce Gaston Jr. told SpartanMag.com his third official visit will be to MSU, which will mark his second time in East Lansing since camping with the Spartans in June. His first two official visits were to Purdue (12/4) and Wisconsin (12/11).
"Really what I want to see is more of the campus," Gaston said of what he's looking forward to when he visits the Spartans. "I went up there the first time (this summer) and everything I saw I loved it. Honestly, I didn't see that much. I was only really in their one main football building. I would like to see more of the campus
I've talked to coaches and stayed in contact pretty much since (the summer) so most of my questions have been answered, it's just the fact of going back up there and getting a feel for the school."
The Spartans have a good feel for Gaston and his abilities, that's why they targeted him as a high priority over the summer and have treated him the same since.
