UK hosted five-star visitor on Monday

Kentucky's football program hosted a familiar five-star visitor on Monday, Cats Illustrated reports.

Cats Illustrated reported late Monday evening that Kentucky's coaches had played host to unofficial visitor Jedrick Wills, the five-star offensive tackle from Lexington (Ky.) Lafayette.

The purpose of the trip appears to have been to spend some time with the coaching staff and to see the new facilities now that everything has been finished.

Sources have said that fellow Lafayette prospect, quarterback and UK commit Walker Wood, was also visiting Kentucky along with Wills. Families of the players were reportedly in attendance.

Wills is Kentucky's top recruiting priority from the Class of 2017 and the timing of his visit to UK was significant, given recent reports (including one at Cats Illustrated) that Alabama had surged ahead in the race for Wills.

Wills visited Alabama and Georgia last weekend and according to sources, the Tide is now in a strong position with the five-star prospect.
