Kentucky basketball players have expressed an eagerness to play for new coach John Calipari and now younger fans ages 7 to 18 can get a taste of that experience, too, by way of camps over the summer.

The John Calipari Basketball School 2009 encompasses three camps over 14 days and ranges from a Father & Son event to Serious Skills:

FATHER & SON CAMP
Organizers says campers will have the chance to be one-on-one with UK coach John Calipari, his staff and current and former Wildcat players. Focus is on drills and techniques that will help teach sons to become a better basketball player.
Date: June 19-20
Time: Friday, 5 pm ? Saturday, 4 pm (EST)
Ages: 7-18 (each camper will work with and play with campers of appropriate age/talent level)
Cost: $150 per individual (includes Friday Pizza Party, Camp T-Shirt, Saturday Lunch, Wildcat Workout Plan, Awards and Autograph Opportunity

OVERNIGHT CAMP
The Overnight Camp is actually two camps, one in June and one in July. The week is dedicated to helping each camper have a tremendous amount of fun while learning new techniques, improving skills, games and much more.
Date: Overnight #1 ? June 21-24, Overnight #2 ? July 26-29
Time: Noon Sunday through 5 p.m. Wednesday. Times vary for day campers.
Ages: 7-18.
Cost: $415 overnight camper, $330 day camper (If not paying in full, there is a $200 non-refundable deposit). Costs includes daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, Camp T-Shirt, Wildcat Workshop Workout Plan, team and individual awards.

WILDCAT SERIOUS SKILLS CAMP
Advanced week of training combines some of the country's best coaches with the enthusiastic Kentucky basketball staff and featuring Wildcat greats Tony Delk and Scott Padgett. Individual attention and instruction included with focus on shooting, ball-handling and passing drills.
Date: July 19-22
Time: Noon Sunday through 5 p.m. Wednesday. Drop-off and pick-up times vary for day campers.
Ages: 7-18
