It didn't take long for Texas to become prime Kentucky basketball recruiting ground when Billy Gillispie was hired last spring. His old connections in the Lone Star State paid off quickly with commitments from junior GJ Vilarino and sophomore K.C. Ross-Miller, and another talented prospect in the Class of 2009 is listing the Wildcats with high interest early in the recruiting process.
