Optimism takes a hit with latest football loss

When the Kentucky football team landed in Lexington upon scoring a significant victory over Auburn it appeared as if it was well on the way to what could finally be the breakout season the Cats had been striving to achieve. A blowout of Louisiana-Monroe the following week only heightened the expectations, leaving some fans to suggest UK could run the table the final five games. One week later the optimism has apparently disappeared as quickly as it came into focus.
