Southwestern Ohio is absolutely loaded with good tight ends in the 2010 class, and maybe the best of the bunch is Alex Welch from Elder High School. The talented player picked up a scholarship offer from Notre Dame last week, and now he has an offer from the Ohio State Buckeyes as well.

Wednesday night was big for Welch on the recruiting front. He got a call he had been waiting for from Ohio State for a long time. "I just got off the phone with Coach (John) Peterson a little while ago and they offered a scholarship."
