Michigan legacy attends Junior Day
Former Michigan All-American Garland Rivers earned a reputation as being a ferocious hitter during his tenure in Ann Arbor, and now his son, Canton (Ohio) McKinley linebacker Jewone Snow, is making his name in a similar fashion. Father and son were in Ann Arbor this past weekend.
The 6-3, 237-pound Snow and his father attended Michigan's Junior Day on Friday, then stayed around for the Wolverines' first spring practice on Saturday. Following the trip, Snow said his impression of Michigan increased.
