Bruins get job done against LBSU

BruinSportsReport.com In one of only two games all season which won't be televised in the greater Los Angeles area, the Bruins overcame a sluggish first half behind terrific outside shooting in order to run away from the Long Beach State 49ers, 88-58. UCLA came out flat on Tuesday night against the Beach, perhaps exhibiting a bit of a Maui hangover.
The Bruins had to rely on the three-point shot in the first half in order to head into the locker room with only a five point advantage. The Bruins made 8-14 from beyond the arc in the first 20 minutes, perhaps falling into the run and gun style the 49ers want a bit too much, thus resulting in only a 41-36 lead.
