Ferns played multiple roles on his visit
Michael Ferns is Michigan's longest-standing commit, and to fans, the linebacker from St Clairsville, Ohio practically feels like an official part of the program. His Project 135 has launched to boost Michigan's recruiting efforts, and may have borne some of its first fruit when Tarpon Springs (Fla.) East Lake offensive lineman Mason Cole committed Monday.
Ferns has been around for so long that it's easy to forget he's still just a recruit himself. He got a bit of the recruit experience on his weekend visit to Ann Arbor.]
