Miller injury puts Cats in bad spot


NASHVILLE, Tenn. - With a meager six-man rotation for the most part, Kentucky had been betting against long odds they would be able to avoid injury all season. But in Saturday's 81-77 loss at Vanderbilt, in the 24th game, luck finally ran out.

At 16:48 in the second half, junior Darius Miller pulled up lame with what coach John Calipari suspected is a groin injury.

"Darius is very versatile," said Terrence Jones, who topped UK with 25 points. "He rebounds. He can hit the open three. He can guard the wings or the post when it comes to helping. He makes good decisions."
