Kentucky defensive coordinator Steve Brown went into the 2010 fall camp knowing his group would have to replace several veterans, including leaders on the line, the linebacking corps and in the secondary. What he didn't expect, however, was to also face a battle of attrition as numerous nagging injuries have slowed development while providing opportunities for newcomers. "It is a double-edge sword," Brown said. "It's good to get work for the young guys, but you need to get those injured guys back in time to get the rust off before that first game." ...More...
